– Johnny Knoxville will apparently be voicing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle’s leader, Leonardo, in the upcoming movie by Michael Bay. During filming, the character was played by Pete Ploszek.

– Titan comics are creating two brand new Doctor Who comics based on the Tenth and Eleventh doctors. Doctor Who: The Tenth Doctor, created by Nick Abadzis and Elena Casagrande, will be an all new ongoing series with a new companion and new enemies. Doctor Who: The Eleventh Doctor, created by Al Ewing, Rob Williams, and Simon Fraser, will explore what the doctor gets up to when Amy and Rory aren’t around.

– The second, third and fourth Avatar movies have all just gone into production simultaneously. James Cameron and his team are currently designing creatures, settings and characters that span over the three films, and says that he should be finished within about six weeks. A quick process it seems.

– Batman vs. Superman has got a new UK release data; 29th April 2016. This is a whole week before the US release date of 6th May 2016, meaning that us Brit’s are going to get to see the film first! It still coincides with the Captain America 3 release so it seems that the two movies will be going head to head.

– X-Men: Apocalypse, the movie that will come after X-Men: Days of Future Past, is going to follow four main characters according to director Bryan Singer. The characters will be Professor X, Magneto, Mystique, and Beast. In the comics, Apocalypse is responsible for assembling the dreaded ‘Four Horsemen’. Does this suggest that these four characters are going to be under his power..

– Following the positive responses that came from the Suicide Squad’s appearance in an episode of the CW series Arrow, a new Suicide Squad comic, written by Sean Ryan, is going to be launched by DC on 9th July. The team will consist of Harley Quinn, Deathstroke, Deadshot, Black Manta, and the Jokers Daughter.

– Deadpool #27 won a Guinness World record for having the most characters drawn on a single cover. The cover, drawn by Scott Koblish, features 232 Marvel characters, shown attending Deadpools wedding.

– Warner Bros has made two big announcements over the last few weeks. The first being that a Goonies sequel is in development, and the second being that they are going to be remaking the hit movie, Gremlins. Apparently Goonies director, Richard Donner, wants to get the original cast back together. Josh Brolin and Sean Astin are in pretty high demand at the moment, but Corey Feldman has expressed interest in the sequel.
