– Nicholas D’Agosto will be playing the role of Harvey Dent in new television series, Gotham. Batman fans will no doubt know that Dent eventually becomes villainous Two Face, but Gotham is set before Dent is District Attorney, let alone Two Face. The role is a recurring one, and may even become regular if the show gets picked up for a second series.

– Star Wars Rebels hasn’t even premiered yet, but has already been renewed for a second season on Disney. The animated series, due to air on 13th October, is set between the original and prequel trilogies.

– Seth Green has been cast to voice the role of Leonardo in Season 3 of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series. He will be joined by Sean Astin as Raphael, Rob Paulsen as Donatello, and Greg Cipes as Michelangelo.

– Liam Neeson will be appearing in Ted 2, joining an already extensive cast, which includes Morgan freeman, and Amanda Seyfried, as well as Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis. The movie has a June 2015 release date.

– Zombieland is getting a sequel and finally has a writer and director for the project. Dave Callaham, who wrote big blockbusters Godzilla and The Expendables, is set to write the script, while Ruben Fleischer will be directing. It is currently unknown as to whether the original cast will return.

– The latest Lego game; Batman; Beyond Gotham, is introducing a few new characters to its third instalment. You may have seen my previous post where I mentioned Kevin Smith’s minifig debut, but he isn’t the only new character. He will be joined by Deathstroke, and Polka Dot Man on 11th November – the games release date.

– The third Bill and Ted movie finally has a plot. The film will be about Bill S. Preston and Theodore Logan, all grown up and in their forties – ‘What if you’re middle-aged, haven’t really grown up and you’re supposed to have saved the world and maybe, just maybe, you kinda haven’t?’ Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves are set to return as Bill and Ted.

– Lena Headey, and Charles Dance –best known as Cersei and Tywin Lannister from the Game of Thrones series, have been cast to appear in upcoming movie; Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, as currently unspecified roles. They will be joining Matt Smith, who will be playing Clergyman, Mr. Collins. The film is based on Seth Grahame-Smith’s novel and will be directed by Burr Steers.
