Now that both Assassin’s Creed Unity and Assassin’s Creed Rogue have been available for over a week, it must be time for a new Assassin’s Creed announcement right?
Ubisoft pop out Assassin’s Creed games, like George R.R. Martin pops out dramatic death scenes – frequently. So it’s no surprise that their next game has been ‘leaked’. According to Kotaku, autumn 2015 will see the release of Assassin’s Creed Victory.
Victory will be set in 19th Century London. For those of you who aren’t so historically inclined, that’s the Victorian era. Picture Jack the Ripper – dirty back alleys, black stagecoaches, gothic buildings, sewers, and of course, prostitutes.
I for one am incredibly excited about the prospect of a British based Assassin’s Game. One of my favourite things about previous games was parkouring over the few famous landmarks throughout Rome and Paris that I’d actually seen in person, screaming ‘I’ve been there, I’ve seen that in real life’, so it will be nice to jump around a city I am incredibly familiar with.
