Tonight marks the season premiere of brand new Prison Break – something I feel like I’ve been waiting an eternity for – so as I sit here waiting for it to begin, I thought I’d make a quick list of everything else I’m looking forward to watching this month. iZombie | Season 3
Liv has discovered there are more zombies living in Seattle than she previously believed. In fact, there is a private military contractor employing a small zombie army, and that army is preparing for the day humans learn of their existence. This season, Liv will eat the brains and take on the traits of a dominatrix, a JACKASS-style stunt man, an office gossip, a pre-school teacher, a conspiracy theorist, a dungeon master, and many more. 4th April. Archer | Season 8
Season 8 of Archer revolves around the hardboiled private eye Sterling Archer and his quest to find his partner’s killer in 1947 Los Angeles.The case proves to be more difficult than expected after Archer quickly gets mixed up in a deadly game of tug of war between Los Angeles’ most powerful crime bosses. Every clue leads Archer further away from his goal and deeper into a mystery involving kidnapping, prostitution and drug addiction. 5th April. FXX
Mystery Science Theatre 3000: The Return | Season 1
The cult hit returns! Captured by mad scientists, new host Jonah survives a blitz of cheesy B movies by riffing on them with his funny robot pals. 14th April. Netflix.
Class | Season 1
Class is set in Coal Hill Academy, a fictional school that has been featured in Doctor Who, and focuses on six of its students and staff members. The sixth former’s all have their own secrets and desires. They have to deal with the stresses of everyday life, including friends, parents, school work, sex, and sorrow, but also the horrors that come from time travel. 15th April. BBC America.
Doctor Who | Season 10
Preceded by a Christmas special, the series will be the third and final series starring Peter Capaldi as the Twelfth Doctor, the most recent incarnation of The Doctor – an alien time lord who travels through time and space in his TARDIS. The series will introduce Pearl Mackie as Bill Potts, the Doctor’s newest travelling companion, and will also feature Matt Lucas as Nardole, who appeared in the two previous Christmas specials. 15th April. Pretty Little Liars | Season 7
After their plan to expose their newest tormentor goes wrong and puts Hanna’s life in danger, the Liars realize that the secrets and lies are far deeper than they thought and must find a way to bring down “Uber A” once and for all before it’s too late. 18th April. Freeform.
Bill Nye Saves The World | Season 1
The series will focus on science, and will investigate its relationship with politics, pop culture and society. The first season will explore topics such as climate change, alternative medicine, video games, and sex from a scientific point of view, whilst also refuting myths and anti-scientific claims.Though the TV show will be hosted by Nye, five correspondents will assist in the presentation of the show. 21st April. Netflix.
Girlboss | Season 1
Sophia, an anarchist misfit, discovers a passion for fashion, becoming an unlikely businesswoman in the process. As her business grows, however, she has to learn to cope with life as her own boss. 21st April. Netflix.
Genius | Season 1
The series will explore how patent clerk Einstein could not get a teaching job or doctorate in his early life yet managed to go on to develop the theory of relativity. 25th April. National Geographic.
American Gods | Season 1
A recently released ex-convict named Shadow meets a mysterious man who calls himself “Wednesday” and who knows more than he first seems to about Shadow’s life and past. 30th April. Starz.
